Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast, was a member of both the Fierce five 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. Aly Raisman took home three gold medals at the 2012 Olympics, in London. She also took home a bronze on the balance beam. It made her the first American gymnast to compete at the Olympics who won the most medals. At the 2016 Olympics she won a silver medal for the team event. This earned her and her teammate Gabby Douglas the credit of being one of the very first Americans to take home back-to-back teams gold medals. She also won silver medals at the individual all-around and for floor exercises. Her break was three years between each Olympics from competitive gymnastics. Additionally, she was a member of two gold-winning American gymnastics team. When she was just 2 She began learning gymnastics. The sport she loves the most is doing floor exercises. Aly is a member of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in honour of her deceased grandmother. She is determined to pursue a prosperous career in the fashion industry. Leotards that she has designed, socks and other items will be expanded on in the future. The book she is working on is titled Fierce which will come out during the course of the year.
